camp our house

Every year since 2013, Our House has organized a fall camp. It's a special part of belonging to Our House that so many of us look forward to each year. Unfortunately, 2020's COVID-19 pandemic made an overnight camp and the activities we do over the three days unsafe. Not willing to pass up a chance to get together, staff arranged for a day at Wiard's Orchard, complete with masks and social distance. This outdoor venue allowed everyone to gather safely and enjoy the beautiful fall day, cider, donuts, and some educational activities. Additional small events, including horse back riding, are scheduled for other October weekends.

We truly appreciate the financial support of the Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor Foundation again this year and for allowing us the flexibility of having a different, but important, annual event for our participants, staff, and board members.
