Our Background

Mentoring

Our mentoring program matches trained, screened volunteers with youth who have experienced foster care. Mentors commit to a minimum of one year with the youth and provide one-on-one guidance to leverage educational, employment, economic, housing, and community resources.

Interested in becoming a mentor?

Mentee Role

To make the most of this program, there are a few key expectations we ask from our mentees:

One-Year Commitment

Event Attendance

Attend at least one event per quarter (or more!) to enhance your skills and network.

Monthly Meetings

Meet with your mentor 1x per month (or more!).

You’ll commit to the program for a minimum of one year, giving you consistent support.

Stay connected with your mentor via text, call, or in person meet ups each week.
